Meet Katie
Experience built from the tools up.
Dunstan Asset Integrity was founded by Senior AICIP In-Service Inspector Katie Dunstan after more than 22 years working across Australia's mining, manufacturing, energy and heavy industry sectors.
Beginning her career as a trade-qualified fitter and machinist, Katie progressed through non-destructive testing, pressure equipment inspection, inspection management and quality assurance—developing a practical understanding of pressure equipment throughout its entire lifecycle.
Her career has included senior technical and leadership roles with organisations including Rio Tinto, ALS Industrial, Bureau Veritas and PVI, delivering inspection and asset integrity services across major shutdowns, operating facilities, fabrication projects and statutory inspection programs.
In addition to her industry experience, Katie serves on the AICIP Board of Examiners through Weld Australia, contributing to the assessment and certification of Australia's future pressure equipment inspectors.
Today, Dunstan Asset Integrity provides clients with something increasingly difficult to find—direct access to an experienced, independent inspector who personally leads every engagement from initial consultation through to final reporting.
